Literature Text

take the thoughts from my
mind, strung along a
line to dry
like laundry; dripping
with the
saturation
of ill sense. try to
piece them together
in a logical sequence and
suffocate
from the fumes of
a decayed mind.
breathe.
watch your sanity
implode.
you're a recluse,
and nonsense
is your sanctuary.

you do now you don't need to place piriods, comas, and semcolons in poetry. the become implyed. and even for free verse the poem dosen't flow well, The imagry is great but the poem just stumbles in the readers mind like it would if the poem was read outloud.

“To seek knowledge, freedom, and autonomy means always to be in the concentrated process of becoming—always to be venturing into new territory, feeling one’s way at first, then getting one’s balance, negotiating, accommodating, discovering one’s self in ways that previously defined others” Barbara Mellix
